Artist's Comments

This picture was taken in Moorea, which is one of the main South Pacific island located closest to Tahiti. In the back of the shells is a small island called a "Motu." I wanted to capture a little bit of the water, motu, and Tahiti to ad to the whole effect. I thought that these shells were so beautiful and it was even cooler to know that my grandmother went out on the reef to find these shells.
